As I watched this video from Tracee Ellis Ross, It reminded me that being a leader is more than just having a vision; it is about staying true to what you believe in, especially when faced with adversity. Everyone will not love you or your ideas, so stay the course, regardless of the opposition and challenges ahead. " I love these statements, "Change requires all of us to lace up our running shoes and knock down the hurdles." "The system is systeming y'all" #Storytelling #Itsallhard #diversitymatters #inclusionmatters #culture #staythecourse #leadershipbyexample

The act of recording and preserving a family legacy on film holds tremendous value for both present and future generations of your family. Here are 4 reasons why you should consider it from one of our recent blogs.➡️ Passing Down Values: Preserving your family’s legacy on film is an ideal way to ensure that the core values that your family holds dear are passed down and respected by subsequent generations. It becomes a time-tested repository of the principles that guided your family’s growth and success.➡️ Family Bonding: The process of recounting and filming your legacy can itself be a powerful bonding exercise, fostering intergenerational understanding and respect.➡️ Preserving History: Your family’s legacy is a part of human history. By recounting and preserving it, you’re ensuring the preservation of this narrative for future generations to explore.➡️ Guiding the Future: Your legacy acts as a guide for future generations, providing them with the wisdom of your experience and a sense of belonging and tradition.#familylegacy #familylegaciesonfilm #familylegaciesvideos

What a joy to not only be talking about #EdTech but something which at my core is why i became an educator #STEAM If you have The National College you can get hold of further information & resources via my webinars about the importance of #STEAM why it has a “A” and how it's all about holistic learning! 🙌🏼Fun fact🙌🏼Interdisciplinary learning was developed in the early 20th century where the agricultural and industrial arts movements of the time recognised the need to prepare students for practical applications beyond the traditional academic curriculum. This led to the development of experiential learning approaches that emphasised hands-on activities and problem-solving skills.👔We are now at an era of the “no collar worker” where we need to be creative, critical, problem solvers, hands on and a jack of all trades… in addition STEAM jobs by 2030 will make up 80% of jobs in the UK due to the #Sustainability requirements of the world. How do you teach and inspire STEAM learning and interdisciplinary learning?
