Coffea Expand & Write
You are an owner of Coffea (coffee tree) plantations to plant, develop, and harvest. Each round, you write several farms - figures within up to 5x5 squares - onto your plantation, expand your farms, and harvest coffee beans from the plantation. Players have their own farms. Only the owner may expand their farm but it can be used by all players according to the die results. The bigger the farm becomes, the harder it is to write the farm. The key to win is how wisely you choose the farm each turn and harvest as many coffee beans as possible!
An interesting game where you are expanding your farms in order to process beans for harvest, but you also need to balance where you place your harvesters in order to reap the benefits of those coffee beans. Unfortunately, you cannot endlessly reap the same fields time and time again, so you must carefully plan each placement as you grow and expand your coffee empire. With two different maps to choose from, and a lot of variety possible through strategies you choose to employ, no two games will ever have to feel the same when you pull out Coffea.
Four Against Darkness: Echoes of the Dead Adventure
Tasked with rescuing a missing cleric as your first mission, what awaits you in the catacombs is a haunting truth. Surrounded by restless dead, every step inching you closer towards eternal damnation, can you redeem your brave fellow and prove your worth to the clerical Order? Will you journey back from the darkness…or be consumed by it?
An exciting new trio of connected adventures for Four Against Darkness, complete with tables to roll upon to generate what you need. All that is required is the core book, this book, and a sense of adventure and exploration as you thread through the narrative being told here. It includes some recommendations and small alterations to character classes to suit the unique challenge within, and this is designed for a Level 1 party of adventurers. If you’ve picked up 4AD and enjoyed it so far, this might make a perfect next purchase to strengthen your familiarity with the system without expanding your options exponentially.
Cortica
Portugal is the world’s largest producer of cork, a veritable wood used in many products. Cork oak trees can take 30 years to mature and their bark can only be harvested once every 9 years. Can you make the most of these amazing trees?
A small footprint of a game which features worker placement and resource management, you’ll be competing to be the first to harvest 6 cork before your opponent. However, that isn’t quite as easy as it might seem, as the spaces are limited and you’ll be looking to outwit and outplay your rival as you try to gather things more efficiently. With a rich decision space that surpasses the size of this little game, you’re sure to enjoy the fun and unique theme in Cortica.
Dangerous Space: Arthur, Eliminate Mission
Arthur would prefer his fellow divers measure him by his record and prowess, instead of his lineage as heir to the moon Khiro.
I know what you’re thinking: the Vicious Leech and the Agitated Titan are already formidable foes for Arthur to face, so surely the boss must be a cakewalk to compensate. Unfortunately, you’d be wrong, as the Elite Hunter is trying hard to live up to its namesake. Not only does it damage you when you roll too low on evil dice, but it also can negate your Defend Gear depending on the attack trigger used. Talk about a fearsome foe, right? Hopefully Arthur’s Skills and his Heirloom Pistol will be enough to help you overcome the threat level of this mission.

Game of the Week: Tussie-Mussie on sale for just $2!
Coming from an era full of fads such as using tear catchers to determine the length of mourning, Tussie-Mussie is based on the Victorian fad that assigned meanings to the flowers that friends and lovers exchanged. Famous authors such as William Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, and Emily Bronte all utilized the meaning of flowers in their writings, and now you can experience the language of flowers in this game from Wingspan designer Elizabeth Hargrave and artist Beth Sobel.
With the approach of Mother’s Day, it should come as no surprise that we’re offering up the great Tussie-Mussie as the game of the week. After all, flowers are a gifting staple, and in the Midwest this tends to be the time when folks try to get their flowers in the ground for the year. This clever game with an I Cut, You Choose mechanism is sure to delight your significant other with its brilliant gameplay and provide a nice way to spend the day with some family or friends. And even if you are alone, there is a great solo expansion for the game that is worth scooping up for fun with flowers.
