  12. Sarah Irwin[2]

William Irwin died in 1748 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.[2] His will was written 12 May 1748 and proven 01 Jun 1748 in the Court at Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.[2][3][4][5]

Elender died in 1787 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.

Disputed origins

William Irvine is a member of Clan Irvine.

Many show William Irwin's parents to be Robert and Margaret (Wylie) Irwin and Robert's parents as David Irvine and Sophia Gault.David's parents were said to be Robert Irvine and Elizabeth Wylie.

There's documentation in earlier years, but although many family trees connect William to Robert & Margaret (Wylie) Irwin/Irvine, documentation is needed. Supposedly, when they moved to America, they changed their surname from Irvine to Irwin.
